Orka Akademy
Our in-house training programs, aimed at enhancing the competencies of both new and existing members of the Orka Holding family, have been conducted continuously since our establishment. With the inclusion of these training and development efforts as part of our career management parameters, Orka Academy was established in 2009. Our goal with Orka Academy is to create professional teams that believe in continuous development, produce timely and rapid solutions with an analytical perspective, and have strong communication skills through Management Trainer programs. Orka Academy plays a vital role in transforming potential into performance and aligning company goals with personal objectives. It supports all departments of the company, especially retail, with training programs.
Our training programs are designed based on a combination of identified training needs from performance evaluation results, industry developments, and company goals, and are shaped according to the competencies required for each position. In-house training is provided by our consultant professors and department directors who are experts in their fields. External training is conducted in collaboration with specialized training firms and renowned universities. Some of the universities that support our training programs include Istanbul University, Sabancı University, and Kültür University. We offer 179 main topics in personal development and professional training programs, developed in collaboration with various institutions, covering areas such as Analytical Management, Data-Driven Decision-Making Techniques, Retail Management, Store Mathematics, Consumer Behavior, and Sales Techniques.
In our e-learning portal, we offer a range of professional training courses, such as Collection Pattern Fabric Training, as well as modules like Orientation, On-the-Job Training, and Occupational Health and Safety. These are available online to the entire retail team. Additionally, we use the portal for current announcements and survey applications.
In our training programs, competency inventories and tests, assessment center applications, and foreign language exam results are used as evaluation parameters in the ongoing process. All indicators in the career plan, measuring performance, competency, technical skills, verbal and numerical perception, are quantitative. Every employee who excels in these criteria is prepared for promotion to a higher position.
We take pride in supporting 3,720 young talents, both those who have been with us since 2009 and those who have recently joined, through our comprehensive training programs. We are also proud to have contributed to defining the career paths of 1,103 individuals.
